Animation Test (Parable of the Sower)

March 8, 2008 · 2 Comments

Traditional animation has been greatly used for such a long time. In that tedious process, it will require tons of work and great numbers of people in order to complete the job. We could remember how many people worked together just to come up with the Disney full length animated movie Snow White. Money, time, and manpower are main considerations. With less financial and human resources, it will be very difficult to make the job successful and fast.

But the introduction of animation softwares like Flash and Moho (now Anime Studio) made the production process faster than before. Ideas and content can be delivered faster because of the available tools that these softwares provide. These softwares became great help for animation studios to meet project deadlines in faster pacing without sacrificing both the content and the quality. Aside from that, the new technology also motivated independent and aspiring animators to produce their own original content and harness their creativity.

As an aspiring animator, I can see how an animation software (like Anime Studio) can really be of great help for people who plan to be in the field of animation. Watch the animation test I made using Anime Studio. The character is directly drawn rigged and animated in Anime Studio, and it is all paperless!
